LET GO AND LET GOD

TO MY MOTHERS

ON HOLY GROUND

ThanksgivingAnonymous writes
On holy ground, I stand,
Before your throne, I confess,
Your love blazes as you forgive.
Your name I sing,
A hymn I hum,
Your kingdom, it gleams.
On holy ground, I stand,
Knowing you have saved my soul.
I thank you for wearing my diadem.
On holy ground, I stand,
Forever, on your kingdom.

You're Special

GOD'S GOT IT

At a time my Dr. was giving me some grievous news,

he was sharing with me his negative views.

I spoke in my mind to my Heavenly Father above,

His answer filled my heart with faith and love.

“I’ve got it” are the only words He said to me,

removing every semblance of fear or anxiety.

No matter what is happening or what the Drs. have said,

when God says He’s got it there’s no sense of dread.

There’s nothing to worry about nothing you have to fear,

you’ll know that you know you are in His care.

How can we know this how can we be absolutely sure,

The Word is written out too powerful to ignore.

There are so many promises on which we may stand,

when we accept our Salvation we are in His hands.

He is molding and shaping us into what He intends us to be,

and when His work is finished we’ll go Home for eternity.

Nothing can separate us from the love of our Heavenly Father,

when we’re in His care trusting is easier not harder.

“God’s got it” He’ll do whatever is best for all concerned,

His Love and grace are gifts not things we’ve earned!

GRANT ME

To Do List From God

To Do List From God
I ran my life in search of worldly things;
My time and will were firmly in control.
I thought I had no need for what God brings;
I gave no heed to murmurs from my soul.
“You’re planning, doing all the time,” it said,
“But something else is missing deep inside.
Your mind is whirling, but your heart is dead,
So turn to God and let go of your pride.”
I did, and God said, “Here’s My plan for you:
Give your life to Me, and just let go.
Have faith and pray, and read the Bible through,
And you’ll have blessings more than you can know.”
So simple, yet it brings me perfect peace,
Living life for God the way I should.
Direction, purpose, fullness and release—
Life with God is very, very good.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Before all

Proverbs 8:22-34

Before all of God's creation
The Lord had formed me
From the very beginning of time
I was there beside thee
Before the mountains were formed
I was brought forth
While yet there was no land
I was with the Lord
When He created everything
The heavens, the sea and the sky
The earth, and all who live in it
I was His daily delight
Blessed are you that listen
Those that keep my ways
Do not neglect instruction
But receive God's wisdom today

A Simple Hug

There's something in a simple hug
That always warms the heart;
It welcomes us back home
And makes it easier to part.

A hug's a way to share the joy
And sad times we go through,
Or just a way for friends to say
They like you 'cause you're you.

Hugs are meant for anyone
For whom we really care,
From your grandma to your neighbor,
Or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing -
It's just the perfect way
To show the love we're feeling
But can't find the words to say.

It's funny how a little hug
Makes everyone feel good;
In every place and language,
It's always understood.

And hugs don't need new equipment,
Special batteries or parts
Just open up your arms
And open up your hearts.

BE ALL YOU CAN

Search the wind for your highest dream,
then let your heart fly free...
With courage and faith unwavering,
be all that you can be.

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

I WANTED TO

I wanted to go, He said stay.

I wanted to do, He said pray;

I wanted to work, He said wait,

I wanted to live for His sake!

“Love Me, child,” He softly said,

“Oh, yes, Lord,” I bowed my head;

“I want your way, I am your son,

Not my will, but Thine be done!”

House By The Side Of The Road

There are hermit souls that live withdrawn
In the place of their self-content;
There are souls like stars, that dwell apart,
In a fellowless firmament;
There are pioneer souls that blaze the paths
Where highways never ran-
But let me live by the side of the road
And be a friend to man.

Let me live in a house by the side of the road
Where the race of men go by-
The men who are good and the men who are bad,
As good and as bad as I.
I would not sit in the scorner's seat
Nor hurl the cynic's ban-
Let me live in a house by the side of the road
And be a friend to man.

I see from my house by the side of the road
By the side of the highway of life,
The men who press with the ardor of hope,
The men who are faint with the strife,
But I turn not away from their smiles and tears,
Both parts of an infinite plan-
Let me live in a house by the side of the road
And be a friend to man.

I know there are brook-gladdened meadows ahead,
And mountains of wearisome height;
That the road passes on through the long afternoon
And stretches away to the night.
And still I rejoice when the travelers rejoice
And weep with the strangers that moan,
Nor live in my house by the side of the road
Like a man who dwells alone.

Let me live in my house by the side of the road,
Where the race of men go by-
They are good, they are bad, they are weak, they are strong,
Wise, foolish - so am I.
Then why should I sit in the scorner's seat,
Or hurl the cynic's ban?
Let me live in my house by the side of the road
And be a friend to man.

MY MOTHER KEPT A GARDEN

My Mother kept a garden,
a garden of the heart,
She planted all the good things
that gave my life it's start.

She turned me to the sunshine
and encouraged me to dream,
Fostering and nurturing
the seeds of self-esteem...

And when the winds and rain came,
she protected me enough--
But not too much because she knew
I'd need to stand up strong and tough.

Her constant good example
always taught me right from wrong--
Markers for my pathway
that will last a lifetime long.

I am my Mother's garden.
I am her legacy-
And I hope today she feels the love
reflected back from me

YOU ARE

You are strong ......When you take your grief and teach it to smile.

You are happy......When you overcome your fear and help others do the same.

You are brave......When you see a flower and are thankful for the blessing.

You are loving......When your own pain does not blind you to the pain of others.

You are wise.....When you know the limits of your wisdom.

You are true......When you admit there are times when you fool yourself.

You are alive.......When tomorrow's hope means more to you than yesterday's mistake.

You are growing......When you know what you are but not what you will become.

You are free.....When you are in control of yourself and do not wish to control others.

You are honorable......When you find your honor is to honor others.

You are generous......When you can take as sweetly as you can give.

You are humble.....When you do not know how humble you are.

You are thoughtful.....When you see me just as I am and treat me just as you are.

You are merciful......When you forgive in others the faults you condemn in yourself.

You are beautiful..... When you don't need a mirror to tell you.

You are rich......When you never need more than what you have.

You are you.....When you are at peace with who you are not.

AWARENESS

Today, I will accept myself just as I am.
I will reaffirm that I am a beautiful person, just as I am.
Today I will accept myself just as I am.
I will love myself just as I am. Today I will say to the infinite
divine being, the mystery that we call God,
"thank you God for making me just as I am."
Knowing this I will see the world just as it is.
I will accept the world just as it is.
And in the clarity of that awareness,
I will feel peace, love, harmony, laughter, and love.

BLOOMING

And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

Serenity

Driving along between the trees
With colors of amber and gold
With the sun shining on the leaves
The serenity of God we did behold.

The wind softly blowing the branches
The colorful leaves hold on tight
Every once in a while one falls
And we watch as it blows out of sight.

Driving higher through lovely trees
With their foliage all ablaze
With yellow, bronze and amber
Set against a sky of purple haze.

God’s autumn paintings are bright and bold
His green cedars lends their color to behold
The serenity of autumn is His gift of love
Making our spirits soar high in the sky above.

IN STILLNESS OF DAWN

Listen to the stillness,
to the quiet, feel the peace
in the dawning of a new day
to your joy in God increase;
look for Him in the sunrise
and appreciate the gift
and soon you will notice
how greatly your spirit lifts
and life's burdens seem less troublesome
as through this world we trod
when in the stillness of the dawn
we meet and talk with God.

Spend some time with Jesus

in this early morning hour.
Let the words He whispers
allow your soul to flower,
bloom lovely in His glory
as He plants His grace within your heart
and showers you with blessings
as another new day starts.
Walk hand in hand with Jesus
and let Him lead the way,
let Him guide your footsteps
as you walk through another day.

Though each day may have its troubles

and life's way may seem rough and flawed,
when in the stillness of the dawn
we meet and talk with God,
life's burdens soon grow lighter
as God lights up the day
and our journey will be easier
when we let Jesus lead the way.

Rise up O woman of God

I Pray that This Blesses You.........Sadara

Rise up O woman of God
In what He has given you
The things God has laid on your heart
Rise up, go forth, and do

Unlock what God has placed within
The potential you have inside
The world is waiting for your release
To expand your wings and fly

Arise in your God-given gifts
For this is your finest hour
Arise in the Lord's holy might
Ignited and empowered

For God is calling you to come forth
To impact this world for Him
Don't hold back or limit yourself
Let His power arise within

And take His message to the world
To those that have lost their way
For you can surely make a difference
If you'd hear His voice and obey

You shall be strengthened in the Lord
As you begin to arise
Conquering those doubts that pull you down
And believe who you are in Christ

For you shall surely be transformed
As, in you, God increases more
And become a woman of true excellence
Bringing honour to her Lord

SPRING

"The wood is decked in light green leaf.
The swallow twitters in delight.
The lonely vine sheds joyous tears
Of interwoven dew and light.
Spring weaves a gown of green to clad
The mountain height and wide-spread field.
O when wilt thou, my native land,
In all thy glory stand revealed?"

LOOK AT THE WORDS

Look at the words written if you will,

The speech of mankind on paper and twill.

Representation is to identify who cries,

For those who bare witness or those who have ties.

We all have our pain and some have their sorrow,

Others go through life like there is no tomarrow.

What starts from the beginning will come to the end,

Will it become an origianl or fade as a trend?

From the Author's reality your subcomed to a dream,

You will laugh or will cry from the visions of theme.

But in the end it is all about the Preacher,

And thanks to the Lord for being the teacher.

CHRISTMAS LOVE

Paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 13.

If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at
mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I'm just another cook.

If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family, it profits me nothing.

If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing in the choir's cantata but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child.

Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the spouse.

Love is kind, though harried and tired.

Love doesn't envy another's home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.
Love doesn't yell at the kids to get out of the way.

Love doesn't give only to those who are able to give in return but rejoices in giving to those who can't.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but giving the gift of CHRISTMAS LOVE will endure.

TODAY

Today I stood at my window and cursed the pouring rain.  Today a desperate farmer prayed for his fields of grain. My weekend plans are ruined; it almost makes me cry, While the farmer lifts his arms and blesses the clouded sky.

Thank you Sadara

A New Year With The Lord

A new year is about to unfold
With new opportunities to explore
Doors will open for new experiences
New adventures with the Lord

Remember not the former things
The things of this past year
The Lord will do new things in us
Much more than we are aware

For He will make a way for us
As we put our trust in Him
And He will guide our every step
By His presence we have within

What God has placed within our hearts
We find we’ll be able to do
If we look for the opportunities
We’ll see the door to go through

We mustn’t let anything hold us back
But rise up and take our place
And be all that God wants us to be
With a fresh touch of His grace

Work In Me

Work in me, O God,
and build Your master plan.
Help me to become a worker, a
helper, to my fellowman.

Help me to lead,
to show others the Way;
and let them honor You, O God,
in all they do and say.

Work a work in me, O Lord,
that will last through all generations,
and work a work in me, O Lord,
which will bring You glory,
in all nations!

~ Sandra Lewis Pringle

I Am Your Friend

You may not have ever seen me
But you know that I am here.
You can feel me in your
heart
As you enter each new day.

I will always be there for you
I am your friend.

Someone to share the good times
As well as the bad.
I make no judgments by what you say
I just listen with my heart and
Hope to be of help in anyway I can.

I will be there for you now and forever
And always please remember
I am your friend!

What Is A Friend?

 A friend is somebody
Who knows you and likes you
Exactly the way that you are.

Someone who's special
And so close in thought
That no distance can ever seem far.

A friend understands you
Without any words,
Stands by you
When nothing goes right.

And willingly talks
Over problems with you
Till they somehow
Just vanish from sight.

And whether you're neighbors
Or live miles apart,
A word from a friend gives a lift
To your heart  and spirit.

That shows  you once more
Why friendship is life's dearest gift!

SPARK

Spark of inspiration,
Light my spirit's fire,
Let the joy of creation
Be my heart's desire.
Let me flow with the music,
Let me dance my dreams alive,
Let me sing my deepest feelings,
Until the whole world thrives.
Exploding into expression,
My joy takes many forms,
Leaving the tears and saddness
For the warmth of tender arms,
Hold me, sweet earth mother,
Soft against your breast,
That I may share the ecstacy
Of my creation's best.
